This is my first game with Eurocom, as a Games Designer on Disney Universe it has been my responsibility to take ownership of five levels and develop them to a finished and polished level of quality for the final game.
My key responsibilities for these levels were:
Design and build gameplay mechanics using in-house tools and 3Ds Max, that could be then integrated into my levels
Scripting and triggering of gameplay and level logic using in-house tool (a visual scripting editor, basic Lua and timeline editing tools)
Work closely with multiple disciplines and teams to produce content and functionality for my levels and its mechanics
Working closely with other Designers and the producers to ensure design consistency across the game
Production and maintenance of level walk throughs and other relevant documentation
Attending play test sessions and maintaining play test reports
Balancing, tweaking and bug fixing
Disclaimer: Some of these levels already had general layouts before I was given ownership of them, with that in mind, I do not claim that all of the initial layouts were of my own work as other designers would have done these. Monsters Level 3, Area 1, 2 and 3 were another designers work.
